MANAGER, INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO
In 1994, Messrs. McBride and Marek formed Capital Lending Resources (“CLR”), a full-service mortgage brokerage and banking company, and Capital Real Estate Advisors (“CRA”), a full-service commercial real estate company. Mr. McBride runs the day-to-day operations of CLR and is responsible for overseeing and managing all loan officers and staff.
In 2010, Messrs. McBride and Marek formed West Bay Capital, LLC. Mr. McBride is primarily responsible for raising capital, managing personnel, and making loan decisions along with Mr. Marek. Today, Mr. McBride is a top producing loan originator and represents some of Southern California’s most prominent leaders in the entertainment, legal, sports, and professional fields.
He currently coaches both basketball and baseball at Palos Verdes High School and is actively involved in charitable efforts for Palos Verdes High School, and the Cager AAU basketball program. Mr. McBride is married with two children. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge.

Since starting in the real estate business in 1979, Mr. Marek has built a track record of success as an investor, developer, broker, lender, and manager of commercial real estate. After working at the Charles Dunn Company for seven years and a brief stint with Sycamore Financial Group, Mr. Marek, along with Mr. McBride formed Capital Lending Resources (“CLR”) and Capital Real Estate Advisors (“CRA”) in 1994. Since the formation of these two companies, Mr. Marek has participated in over $1 billion dollars worth of real estate and finance transactions. Additionally, Mr. Marek has been actively involved in numerous real estate investment and development projects as an owner and managing partner. Mr. Marek’s broad range of experience in both the investment and financing arenas provide him with a unique and balanced perspective when analyzing and structuring loans. Mr. Marek’s clients include such national firms as Rite Aid Drug Stores (as a preferred developer), Chicago Title, American Golf, Regency Centers, and Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Bank).
Mr. Marek is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), California Mortgage Association (CMA), and Rainmaker U. His charitable affiliations include the California Heart Center Foundation, Maryvale, Catholic Big Brothers, and his alma mater Crespi High School, where he previously served on the Board of Directors. Mr. Marek resides in Westlake Village with his two children. Mr. Marek has an undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge, and a graduate degree from the University of Virginia.

VICE PRESIDENT OF ORIGINATIONS
Mr. Poyer brings over 41 years of commercial real estate knowledge and experience in a wide variety of disciplines to the West Bay team. He began his career with Charles Dunn Company in 1981 with a focus on retail sales and leasing. Later, he developed a niche specializing in institutional property sales and represented numerous religious and educational entities in the acquisition and disposition of various real estate properties throughout the Western U.S. While at Charles Dunn, Mr. Poyer received numerous sales honors including the Salesman of the Year Award for the entire company and eventually was named a Partner in 1986. His leadership and sales abilities were evident early on and he was given the responsibility of training new sales associates throughout his 18-year career with the firm. In 1998, Mr. Poyer joined Daum Commercial Real Estate Services, where he added office leasing services to his repertoire. Working with an ever-expanding client base his success continued at Daum.
In 2001, he joined Capital Real Estate Advisors and Capital Lending Resources where he continued his commercial real estate specialties and expanded his services to include commercial and residential financing. Mr. Poyer was the first team member brought on board by the West Bay Capital manager and continues in his capacity with originations, underwriting and marketing of the fund. Mr. Poyer holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and is an alumnus of Rainmaker U. He has remained active in his church – St. Julie Billart in Newbury Park and his alma mater – Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. Mr. Poyer is married with two adult children, one grandchild and is a graduate of California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
Darren Hill is a Managing Director at Capital Real Estate Advisors (“CRA”). Mr. Hill is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, documenting, and closing West Bay transactions. Mr. Hill reviews all due diligence materials and works closely with West Bay’s attorneys, title and escrow officers, and other consultants to ensure all of the appropriate documentation is received and satisfactory prior to a loan funding.
Prior to CRA, Darren was a Director at CBRE Investors – Strategic Partners for 7 years. Darren was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and closing value-add and opportunistic investments, including direct equity and joint ventures, for a series of closed-end commingled funds with assets in excess of $10 billion. Darren’s achievements included 30 acquisitions totaling $2.1 billion and dispositions in excess of $1.3 billion. Prior to CBRE Investors, Darren was an Assistant Investment Manager at American Realty Advisors in Glendale, CA. At American, Darren closed complex structured investments on behalf of a value-added fund focused on retail repositioning and development. Investment structures included subordinate debt and joint venture equity. Darren closed over $75 million in investments to kick off a new fund and investment program. Darren also managed a portfolio of debt and equity investments totaling nearly $100 million. Darren received his Bachelor of Science degree in real estate from Arizona State University in 1996 and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 1999.

Mr. Deragisch is West Bay Capital’s Fund Administrator and a Vice President at Capital Lending Resources, Inc. Mr. Deragisch works directly with West Bay’s professional fund partners and is responsible for the daily operations of the fund. Mr. Deragisch interacts directly with fund investors, is a member of the loan committee, assists in the loan origination process, and manages loan servicing along with asset management for the portfolio. In addition to these duties, Mr. Deragisch is the team lead for financial, compliance, and audit reporting to all of West Bay’s regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining West Bay in 2010, Mr. Deragisch was the primary commercial and residential insurance adjuster for the greater Los Angeles area for Travelers Insurance Company. While at Travelers, Mr. Deragisch was in charge of managing 10 other adjusters throughout California and the Southeastern United States. Mr. Deragisch worked directly with contractors and policyholders in the valuation and rebuilding of commercial and residential properties damaged by casualties. Mr. Deragisch also served as the training director for incoming personnel to the commercial claims division for Southern California.
Mr. Deragisch holds a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in Business Management and Administration, a M.S. from Georgetown University in Real Estate and is Capital Lending’s Real Estate Broker of Record. Mr. Deragisch has remained active in the development departments at his alma mater’s – Loyola Marymount University, Georgetown University, and Jesuit High School in Sacramento, California. Mr. Deragisch sits on the board of directors and is an active volunteer for the Los Angeles Maritime Institute, an organization that focuses on tall ship sail and maritime training to underprivileged teenagers. Mr. Deragisch resides with his wife and two children in Redondo Beach, California.
Mr. Prince began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 2013 as an analyst for Faris Lee Investments where he assisted in the underwriting and marketing of retail properties for sale. Following his time at Faris Lee, Mr. Prince joined Clippinger Investment Properties where he worked primarily in acquisitions and served in many other areas alongside the President, including roles in dispositions, leasing and property management.
Since 2015 Mr. Prince has served as Director of Originations for West Bay Capital. In this capacity Mr. Prince leads all origination efforts including underwriting, closing and servicing of loans. In 2021, Mr. Prince and his family moved to Tennessee and established an office for West Bay in the city of Franklin with a focus on growing originations in the Southeast region. Mr. Prince received his B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he was captain of the football team and the starting quarterback for three seasons. Mr. Prince is married with two children and resides in Nolensville, TN.

Mr. Quinn comes to West Bay with over 35 years of marketing, sales, and client management experience within the financing and healthcare insurance industry.
He began his career in communications and marketing with Prudential Financial in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His success amongst his peers led him to Los Angeles where he continued to thrive in sales and client retention. Leveraging his business and interpersonal skills, Mr. Quinn went on to lead Blue Cross of California and Cigna Healthcare’s sales teams towards their goals of achieving significant growth and positive financial results within the Southern California market.
Furthering Mr. Quinn’s interpersonal skills, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for GPA Consultants where he focuses his efforts on future planning for growth and sustainability.
Mr. Quinn is an active community leader on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. He and his family are members of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. As a parishioner, Mr. Quinn contributed to and aided in the capital campaign to raise funds to build a new church. He also served as the president of the Palos Verdes High School Booster Club which supports the arts, athletics, and most importantly academics.
Mr. Quinn is a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania. He went on to earn his BA from the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication from Temple University.
Mr. Quinn is married with two children and resides in Palos Verdes Estates.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Kyle is a recent graduate of the University of Washington where he received a B.S. in Real Estate. Previous to his arrival at West Bay Capital, he gained experience at SRS Real Estate Partners in Newport Beach as an analyst for the company’s National Net Lease Group.
Before graduating from the University of Washington, Kyle attended St. John's University where he was a Division 1 lacrosse player and earned a place on the Big East All-Academic team. He was nominated by his coach to participate in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where he acted as a liaison between the athletic director and his teammates. In his time away from the office, Kyle enjoys working out, being outdoors, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Kyle is born and raised in Palos Verdes, California.
